The Agafay desert is about 1 hour by car from Marrakech and covers several hundred hectares. The landscapes are impressive with rock dunes (not sand dunes). Lost among the dunes, there are still some Berber villages that continue to exist in this austere but sublime nature.

The departure at 9am from your hotel to Agafai the nearest desert to Marrakech, it’s far only 1 hour from the city by car. The best choice for those who have short time to explore the city and want to live the desert experience.
You will have also some activities (Camel trekking for around 1 hour) before going to the high Atlas Mountains to visit the dam of Lalla Takerkoust. Next we go back to Marrakech after exploring some parts of the mountains that remain untouched.
