TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING A CAR WITH DRIVER IN MOROCCO

When booking a car with a driver in Morocco, it’s important to have clear terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. The following guidelines outline what clients can expect, their obligations, and the services provided.

1.- Booking and Confirmation

  • Reservation: To confirm a booking, clients are required to provide full details of their trip, including dates, pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers, and any special requirements.
  • Deposit: A deposit, usually 20-30% of the total cost, is required to secure the reservation. This can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or any other mutually agreed payment method. The balance is typically paid before or upon arrival in cash or via another agreed method.
  • Confirmation: Once the deposit is received, a booking confirmation will be sent, including details of the vehicle, driver, itinerary, and contact information.

2.- Cancellations and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start of the service are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the service may incur a penalty, usually the deposit amount. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation by Provider: If the service provider needs to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability), they will either provide an equivalent replacement or offer a full refund.

3.- Service Inclusions and Exclusions

  • Included in the Service:
    • Private vehicle with an English/French/Spanish-speaking driver.
    • Fuel costs, highway tolls, and parking fees.
    • Driver’s meals and accommodations.
    • Complimentary bottled water and basic refreshments.
    • Free Wi-Fi (if specified and available in the vehicle).
    • Insurance coverage for the vehicle and passengers.

4.- Vehicle and Driver

  • Vehicle Type: Clients will be provided with the type of vehicle agreed upon during booking, which can range from sedans, 4×4 vehicles, minivans, or luxury cars based on availability and the client’s requirements.
  • Driver: The driver assigned will be experienced, professional, and knowledgeable about the areas visited. Any changes in the driver due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.

5.- Client Responsibilities

  • Adherence to Schedule: Clients should adhere to the agreed-upon pickup times and itinerary. Any significant delays or changes may result in additional costs.
  • Luggage and Belongings: Clients are responsible for their own luggage and belongings. The service provider will not be liable for any lost or damaged items during the trip.
  • Passenger Conduct: Clients are expected to treat the vehicle and driver with respect. Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers may incur additional charges.

6.- Amendments and Changes

  • Minor Changes: Clients can request minor changes to the itinerary or pickup times, subject to the driver’s availability and agreement. Such changes should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Major Changes: Significant changes to the itinerary, such as additional destinations or changes in duration, may incur extra charges and are subject to availability.

7.- Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or PayPal. Other methods such as credit card payments can be arranged if agreed upon in advance.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is typically paid on the first day of the service. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the service.

8.- Liability and Insurance

  • The service provider ensures that all vehicles are covered by appropriate insurance for transportation services in Morocco, including third-party liability. However, the provider will not be responsible for delays, accidents, or any form of inconvenience caused by factors outside their control (e.g., road conditions, traffic, weather).

9.- Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • If clients are dissatisfied with the service, they are encouraged to communicate their concerns immediately so that issues can be resolved promptly. In case of unresolved disputes, the matter may be escalated to the appropriate authorities in Morocco.

10.- Force Majeure

  • The service provider will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms if such failure is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or any other events classified as force majeure.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure transparency and satisfaction for both clients and service providers. For any specific inquiries or clarifications, feel free to reach out prior to finalizing your booking.
